CMA CGM Group received on Nov. 10th 2009 the CMA CGM CHRISTOPHE COLOMB, first of eight ships of 13,300 TEU capacity ordered at DSME (Daewoo). The ship is assigned to the Far East-Europe FAL7service. With an average weekly capacity of 14,400 teu, the FAL7 is the largest liner service currently in existence. It is run with a total of ten ships. The CMA CGM CHRISTOPHE COLOMB is equipped with loose Container Securing Equipment from German Lashing.
